About The Artist

Throughout my life, I have always LOVED what I like to call “happy moments”. These moments often don’t draw much attention. They are quiet and I love finding them! As a young girl, I kept a gold polka dot journal on my nightstand. Before bed, I would write down my favorite “happy moment” from that day. Things like: the reflection on a raindrop, steam rolling out of my dad’s coffee mug, the glowing embers of a bonfire, laughing with my friends… etc. I think I have always loved trying to notice the quiet beauty in ordinary moments because it makes life so much richer! 

I mention all of this because I like to create artwork with this same mindset. You’ll notice I like to paint “ordinary” objects. It’s easy to get caught up in all things extravagant and lose sight of the “happy” right in front of us. I hope my artwork and designs point you back to the here and now. There is so much beauty to be found no matter the season.
